2012 ATA7a

Richard Gliech presented before an audience of professional translators, translation bureau representatives, and other language service providers at the American Translators Association’s 2012 Annual Conference in San Diego, California. Each year, the ATA Annual Conference attracts more than one thousand language service professionals from all over the United States and neighboring nations.

Richard’s presentation, “A True Business Approach to Freelance Translation” posited a business model for freelance translators seeking to attract more work, streamline workflow, and increase overall income in today’s translation industry.

The session was well attended and generated positive feedback from the audience.

The full presentation is featured in the ATA’s eConference program and conference DVD along with more than 150 other sessions. View Richard’s conference paper, published in the conference proceedings, here.
